The outdoor rock art area closes October 10th, 2023!

Due to ice and slippery conditions, the outdoor rock carvings area will be closed from October 10th, 2023. Fortunately, we have seven loose stones with real rock art in the museum's indoor exhibition, so you can still get a taste of both rock carvings and rock paintings. In addition, we offer exhibitions with various themes from Alta's exciting history.

PS. On snow free days with sunshine and plus temperatures, we might be able to open the outdoor area in the middle of the day. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
