Miserabiles Personae

An exhibition showing how children and the poor existed in medieval Norway, and how King Magnus Lawmender's new law code of 1274 affected society. The exhibition is produced through collaboration between the National Law Project, University of Bergen, and The Norwegian Children's Museum, MUST.

Miserabiles Personae is travelling until 2024, when the law code celebrates 750 years. You can visit the exhibition at Alta Museum from October 12 2023 until April 1 2024.
