Shapes of the past
Get close to the sharpest weapons of the Stone Age!
This exhibition shows photographs of arrow tips, spearheads, knives and other tools from the Stone Age in the north. The exhibition is borrowed from Tromsø Museum.
It is not only the rock art that is beautiful among the remains of the Stone Age. Tools and other items have lines that can captivate and excite. In this exhibition, photographs of arrow tips, tips, knives and other tools from the Stone Age in the north are displayed. Here the object's design and shape are emphasized, which are often elaborate and elegant.
The objects are from Melkøya in Finnmark, and originate from settlements through eight thousand years, approx. 9000-1000 BC. The pictures are displayed in a big format so that all details are clearly displayed. Photographer is Adnan Icagic at Tromsø Museum.
